Health and Safety

Nobody wants to have an accident. Conversely, nobody wants to be responsible for an accident either.

It is important to choose a Company that has a Health & Safety Policy, and is aware of the current Health & Safety Regulations. Did you know that if someone has an accident on your site, and work has been carried out that is not compliant with Health & Safety Regulations, you could be held liable? For example, did you know that the use of ladders is now heavily restricted?

Don't get caught out. Make sure your Contractors are properly insured for Public & Employers Liability. They should give you a Risk Assessment & Method Statement prior to any work undertaken and should be working within the Working at Height Regulations 2005 It is a good idea to check the wording on your Contractor's insurance policy to see if they are covered for the work being carried out. Health & Safety Officers will give free advice, and your local one can be found here: http://www.hse.gov.uk/contact/maps/index.htm

Alternatively, please give us a call and we will happily give you free advice or an on site survey.
